Tourplan: How to use the Wetu/ Tourplan NX Connector
This document will help you understand how to send the generated Itinerary message code out of Tourplan, connect, and map your booking service lines between the two systems which will result in producing a Wetu Itinerary.

Generate Wetu Itinerary Message
To generate a WETU Itinerary, first, enter all your booking services in Tourplan adding in as many details as possible.
NB: Your booking needs to contain at least one Accommodation, in order to generate a Wetu Itinerary.
Select Operations And Accounts, then Documentation. This will allow you to generate the Wetu message for your booking.
Click on 'Generate Message'.
Ensure your document type is set to "Booking XML Message" Document Format is set to the Message template that you created. You can use this document to help you create your Message Template.
Your booking XML message will open up. Select 'Email' to send the booking from Tourplan through to your Wetu Connector.
NB - The Tourplan users email address must also be registered against a user in Wetu.
Open Tourplan Inbound Connector
Log into Wetu and enter your username and password to access your Dashboard. Once done, select 'Connect', which will allow you to view all sent Tourplan Bookings in Wetu.
This will take you through to the Wetu/Tourplan Inbound Connector containing a list of all Bookings sent to Wetu.
Search for your booking using the following methods:
Filter
Choose your date range according to when you sent the booking from Tourplan to Wetu.
Name
Search according to booking name as loaded in Tourplan.
Ref.
Search according to booking reference as loaded in Tourplan.
Agent
Search according to booking agent code as loaded in Tourplan. Learn how to link your Agent Code to your connector screen here
Connect to Your Booking
Select 'Connect' and your mapping screen containing all your services for that booking will open.
Link Bookings
Create one itinerary using multiple bookings. Under the "Link Bookings" header, you can select the bookings you'd like to link.
The bookings you are linking together will appear within the "Connect" space, you can then click on "Connect" to enter the itinerary builder.
NB - Please ensure that merged bookings follow the correct date sequence. Example: Booking one end date: 1st March, Booking two start date: 2nd March.
The 'Mapping' Column will show what the services are mapped as (i.e. accommodation, activities). If all services are mapped, a green proceed option will appear on the top right-hand side.
If there are services that still need to be mapped, the 'Mapping' Column will show 'Map Now' and there will be an orange Skip option on the top right-hand side. By selecting the 'Map Now' next to each service line you will be able to map the services. This document will give you more information on mapping your services.
Itinerary Created Screen
Once all services are mapped and you have selected either the green Proceed or the orange skip option, the system will generate your itinerary and the Itinerary Created Screen will open allowing you to enter into the Itinerary Builder.
